Dynamo Electric Kart:

The Dynamo electric go kart is an exciting breakthrough in battery powered go karts. It uses an electric motor capable of putting out 21hp for a spectacular ride




Programmed into its controller is regenerative breaking to help recharge the battery as you slow down and ramped up initial starting to reduce battery drain without reducing the kart's performance. The master switch is programmed to automatically go into a standby mode after 30 seconds of non-use to reduce battery drain.

Motor: 48 volt series wound motor that allows the most control and efficient use of battery power.

Controller: Solid state programmable controller is rated up to 400 amps! Works with Select One to give three forward engine speeds and one reverse speed.

Battery Pack: Fully fuse protected. Uses four 12v 80amp hour batteries for the longest possible cycle time.

Reverse Switch: The reverse speed will not engage unless the kart is at a complete stop. It only stays on as long as the button is pushed. if pushed while moving forward, nothing happens.

Park & Charge System: Spring loaded contacts are attached to the bottom of the kart with durable brass conductors. They contact raised metal plates in the pit area that completes the circuit when the kart enters the pit and stops over them for five seconds. it is a smart charger that only charges the needed amount of energy then shuts off automatically. When a kart is not over the plates, the unit stays off, saving energy.

Dynamo Select One Kart Kommander: The sophisticated Kart Kommander allows the operator to have better control of the track. At the start of the ride, the karts have a crawl speed allowing them to leave the pit safely and not damage the conductors. Once out, they run at full speed unless the ALL STOP button is pressed by the track operator. When the ALL STOP is activated, the time is put on standby and the lights are turned to yellow. Time resumes and karts run full speed when the ALL STOP is pressed a second time. At the end of the ride, the timer automatically turns the lights to red, and energizes the approach loop that returns the karts to a crawl speed to enter the pit. This is only in the last 100 feet before the pit. It also slowly reduces the speed to crawl to help make the pitting operations faster and safer.
